Foodjitsu Friday: For the Love of Fat Hollandaise Sauce

Sometimes you just need a great sauce that you can pour over everything like eggs, veggies, my body…just kidding. I love hollandaise sauce but I hate how much work it usually is. So used foodjitsu to make hollandaise sauce that is as tasty as it is easy. Enjoy and I’ll see you in the kitchen!

For the Love of Fat Hollandaise Sauce

This is the easiest way I've found to make hollandaise sauce. No double boiler or constant whisking required.

Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 4 People

Ingredients

  • 3 free-range egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup ghee

Instructions

  1. Do your prep first. Separate eggs, melt ghee, juice lemon and bring everything to room temperature.

  2. Get out your Cuisinart with the blade attachment.

  3. Place egg yolks, lemon juice, and sea salt in Cuisinart & blend until yolks are bright yellow.

  4. While the Cuisinart if running, slowly drip in melted ghee until you get a thick creamy mixture.
