For those of you who might not have figured it out…I love to cook! More specifically I love to eat. But if you love to do either of these activities you have to have ingredients. Today’s foodjitsu is all about where I get my food and my favorite ways to save money. This way I get great ingredients without going broke. So I hope you’re ready for my top 5 favorite places to buy online.

I love Thrive Market, it’s like if Whole Foods and Costco had a baby and shipped it to your door. Thrive Market probably has the best selection of Paleo/Gluten Free approved products in one place at great prices. You can also shop just by values, such as paleo, gluten-free, or raw. This makes searching through all the products a lot easier. Thrive Market also has starter kits that you can try as well. This includes Paleo and Whole30 approved starter kits. So if your looking for a great place to get started and change your diet Thrive is the place to do it.

  • Amazon– they literally have everything anyway…

It might sound cliche but Amazon does have everything, including some of my favorite ingredients to use in my recipes as well as Whole30 approved items. Plus if you have a prime membership things will come to your house in 1-2 days. It is actually faster in some cases to buy online then go to the store. Below of some of my recent purchases.

  • Ibotta– the app that pays you back for shopping for food…use this code hpt4q to get PAID!!!

Now technically this is not shopping online but this a great app that gives you cash back for shopping at grocery stores and online, including Thrive Market (see above). All you have to do is take a picture of your receipt and scan the barcode of your products. For online just click through the link in Ibotta and get cash back. Once you reach a minimum amount of $20, you can cash out in PayPal or get a gift card, such as Amazon or Whole Foods.

  • Ebates– get cash back for clicking…

This is a tough one, can you click your mouse? That’s what I thought. This is the easiest way to get cash back on online shopping that you can then use for grocery shopping. All you have to do is sign up neon Ebates then click through the shopping portals on the website and get a percentage of cash back. Ebates then sends you a check quarterly so it ends up being like a saving account for shopping.

  • Vital Choice– speaking of stores that you can shop through ebates…

This is one of the great stores you can shop through Ebates. Vital Choice has a huge selection of wild seafood and pasture raised meat. They also have free shipping once you reach a certain dollar amount and they frequently have sales. Combine with Ebates to get the most out of this shopping experience, I know I do.

There you have it guys. Some of my favorite way to shop online for groceries. Some of these options might work for you guys and some of these might not. Enjoy and I’ll see you in the kitchen!
